BRYANT FALLS AT RUTGERS
Bryant took a 44-41 lead in the second half at Rutgers but an 8-0 run put the Scarlet Knights ahead for good as they claimed a 66-57 win over the Bulldogs on Sunday.
PINZON POSTS CAREER HIGH
Rafael Pinzon recorded a career-high 17 points, 15 of them in the second half, on Sunday at Rutgers. He finished 7-of-15 from the field and 3-of-6 from three. Pinzon also added four rebounds and four steals.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- The Black and Gold will play three games in five days starting on Thursday night. Bryant will travel to FAU on Saturday before hosting Howard on Monday.
- Pinzon has posted career hights in each of his last two games. He scored 15 on his birthday vs Fisher before posting 17 at Rutgers.
- Sherif Gross-Bullock has scored in double-figures in all three games this season.
- Daniel Rivera is off to a hot start this year, averaging 13.0 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.0 bpg and 1.0 spg.
- Bryant has blocked at least seven shots in each of the first three games. The Bulldogs are averaging 7.67 blocks per game.
