Bryant opens 2018 fall slate with Ryan T. Lee Memorial
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University golf team opens its 2018 fall season on Saturday, when they play in the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate Tournament, hosted by LIU Brooklyn.
After a practice round on Friday, 14 teams will play 18 holes on Saturday and 18 more on Sunday, with the lowest 36-hole team total being crowned the champion.

Bulldog Notes and Notables
- This is the first of five fall dates for the Bulldogs, with the first two happening in Connecticut.
- The Black and Gold finished third out of 13 teams last season, finishing two shots out of second-place Bentley. Fordham won the tournament with a seven-over team total of 574.
- Senior Ryan Brown (Bedford, N.H.) paced Bryant in last year's competition, finishing T3 with an even-par 144 on the tournament.
- Junior Connor Henderson (Southborough, Mass.) also had a top-10 finish in the 2017 edition, compiling a two-over 146, good for T9.
- Junior Matthew Stafford (Suffield, Conn.) returns as the best scorer from the 2017-18 Bulldogs, averaging a score of 75.8 in 16 rounds last season, including a T11 finish at the Northeast Conference Championships.
