No. 10 Men's Lacrosse To Battle Assumption Wednesday; Bulldogs Host Southern N.H. In NE-10 First Round Saturday
No. 10 Men's Lacrosse Hosts Assumption Wednesday at 4 pm
SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University men's lacrosse team, ranked No. 10 nationally this week, will host Assumption College Wednesday afternoon (4 pm) in the final home regular season game. The Bulldogs will host Southern New Hampshire in the conference first round on Saturday at 1 pm at Bulldog Stadium. The winner of the Bryant / Southern NH game will travel to No. 2 seed Merrimack next Wednesday.

Bryant (9-4, 7-2 NE-10) secured the No. 3 seed of the upcoming conference tournament thanks to Saturday's 7-4 win over Saint Michael's. Le Moyne will be the top seed followed by Merrimack at No. 2.
Freshmen Matt McKeefrey and Bryan Kaufmann are No. 8 and No. 9 respectively with 17 goals in conference play this season. Kaufman leads the Bulldogs with 24 goals overall with McKeefrey next with 23.
Senior Adam Smith has enjoyed a solid season in the midfield, entering Wednesday's game with 16 goals and 11 assists.
Defenseman Tim Duffany has backboned the Bulldog defense all year, showing why he was a pre-season All-America selection. He is currently second on the team with 55 ground balls.
