Before Bryant: A 2013 graduate of Mountain Lakes High School, Walsh was a two-year varsity letterwinner and starter for the Lakers … Helped lead Mountain Lakes to the Group 1 State Championship as a senior … Team also won the North Jersey Group 1 Sectional title … 2012 Morris County championship … Collected 107 ground balls in final season … Senior captain … Ball Hawk Award and Dick Sabia winner as a senior … Earned all-state and All-Gibbs Honorable Mention selections as a senior … 2013 all-star … Also played two years of varsity football and two years of varsity basketball at Mountain Lakes … On the gridiron, Walsh was a second team all-conference pick as a senior and helped his team to back-to-back conference titles in 2011 and 2012 … Also earned the Skip Watts Award … On the court, he was a senior captain and all-conference honorable mention … Basketball team also won a conference championship as a senior … Named Mountain Lake's Male Scholar Athlete … National Honor Society member.
