As a freshman: Appeared in 13 contests as a rookie, scoring his first collegiate goal against Hobart March 21 on his only shot of the season ... Picked up seven ground balls with two caused turnovers.

Before Bryant: A 2014 graduate of Glen Rock High School, Pellegrino was a four-year varsity letterwinner and three-year starter for the Panthers … Helped team win back-to-back league championships in 2011 and 2012 … 2012 Blue Chip 225 Elite All-Star … First team all-league and all-state honorable mention in 2013 … Also earned two varsity letters in soccer … Honor roll student as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Cynthia Luer and Darren Pellegrino, Jake Pellegrino was born Feb. 2, 1996 … Has one brother, Dylan … Aunt, Dana Pellegrino, played basketball and softball at Fairfield University from 1984-88 and semiprofessional basketball in the Irish Basketball League in 1988-89.
