Bryant Lacrosse to host four camps and tournaments in summer 2015

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse program will be offering four camps and tournaments for all ages and skill levels, hosted on the Smithfield, R.I., campus throughout June and July. 

Registration and further information for all events can be found at www.presslax.com. All camps and tournaments will take place on the Bryant University campus.

Bryant Bulldog Classic High School Tournament: June 27-28
 This two-day tournament will feature five competitive divisions: 

  • High School Elite
  • High School Varsity A
  • High School Varsity AA
  • High School Junior Varsity A (2017 & later)
  • High School Junior Varsity AA (2017 & later)

Teams are will compete in four games, with a championship game played in each division.

Two player clinics will also be offered:

  • Saturday, June 27: Shooting Clinic (12:30 p.m.)
  • Sunday, June 28: Faceoff Clinic (12:30 p.m.)

Fee: $1600 per team

 

Bryant Bulldog Youth Classic Tournament: Saturday, June 27
 This one-day tournament will feature two competitive divisions:

  • 2019
  • 2020

Teams will compete in three games, playing two 25-minute periods.
Players will also take part in a shooting clinic at 12:30 p.m.
Fee: $1200 per team

 

2015 Bryant Lacrosse Camp for Boys: June 29-July 2
 Mike Pressler, head coach of Bryant University and 2010 World Champion Team USA, is joined by his outstanding staff, as well as current and former players, for this highly instructional camp, tailored to both the experienced and inexperienced player. Camp staff will provide well-rounded and concentrated clinical instruction over three sessions per day. Campers will be grouped by experience, and enrollment is limited to insure the most effective staff-to-player ratio. Coach Pressler will be involved in every session.

Who: Boys, grades 6-8
Overnight Fee: $595 (includes meals, housing and instruction)
Extended Day Fee: $495 (9 a.m. – 8 p.m.; includes lunch, dinner and instruction)

 

2015 Bryant Bulldog Lacrosse Prospect Day: Saturday, July 25
 This rain-or-shine event is open to all high school boys and will consist of two typical Bryant Lacrosse practices, as well as educational and recruiting seminars. Individual instruction on how to play your position at the Division I level will be given by head coach Mike Pressler and his coaching staff, as well as current members of the 2015-16 Bryant lacrosse team.

When: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
