SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Two-time All-Northeast Conference First Teamer and Bryant University men's lacrosse senior captain Kyle Mummau (Carlsbad, Calif.) has been named a 2017 Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention.

Mummau has started every game of his career, and enters his senior season with 48 career ground balls and 28 career caused turnovers.

Mummau also received preseason all-conference recognition from Inside Lacrosse's preseason coaches' poll, where he was joined by fellow starting defenseman Anthony Johnson (Fairfield, Conn.) and top returning scorers Tucker James (Essex Fells, N.J.) and Ryan Sharpe (Poway, Calif.).

The Bulldogs open their season Saturday at 12 p.m. at Manhattan College.
