Massa named to USILA Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bryant University men's lacrosse graduate student Kenny Massa (Huntington, N.Y.) has been named to the USILA Team of the Week for his performance in Saturday's season opener.

Massa was 19-of-24 (.792) at the X and tied his career-high with 16 ground balls in Bryant's 15-7 win over Manhattan Saturday. Massa added a goal for the Bulldogs, who won their season opener for the third-straight year.

The Bulldog midfielder was one of 10 players to make the list, joining Ben Clark (Bucknell), Christian Cuccinello (Villanova), Hunter Forbes (Jacksonville), Justin Guterding (Duke), Jules Heningburg (Rutgers), Ryan Keenan (Penn State), John Kelly (Ohio State), Chase Levesque (Boston University) and John MacLean (Boston University).

Bryant is back in action Saturday at 1 p.m. when the Bulldogs host Bucknell.
