Massa earns USILA Team of the Week honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bryant University graduate student Kenny Massa (Huntington, N.Y.) has been named to the USILA Team of the Week for the second time this season after a stellar face-off performance last weekend.

Massa went 23-of-24 on face-offs and collected 12 ground balls in Saturday's home clash with Drexel. The .958 face-off percentage was tied for fourth in a single game nationally this season.

The midfielder from Long Island ranks third in the nation this season in face-off percentage (.705) and ground balls per game (10.57). Massa has had the upper hand at the X in six of seven contests this season. Massa was previously named to the USILA Team of the Week Feb. 5.

Bryant returns to action Saturday when the Bulldogs host Mount St. Mary's in 1 p.m. in both teams' Northeast Conference opener. Tickets for Saturday's contest are available by clicking HERE, while the game can be seen on NEC Front Row with Jake Zimmer and Matt Gosselin on the call.
