Massa earns Midseason All-America honor from Inside Lacrosse

BALTIMORE – Bryant University men's lacrosse student graduate student Kenny Massa (Huntington, N.Y.) has been named a Midseason Media All-America selection by Inside Lacrosse, as announced Thursday morning by the publication.

Massa earned an honorable mention All-America honor for his stellar work at the face-off X through the first half of the 2018 season. Massa ranks third nationally with 12.22 ground balls per game and fourth with a .700 face-off percentage.

The graduate student from Long Island is one of just two players nationally to record 22 or more face-off wins in a game at least twice and one of four players with a single-game face-off percentage of .950 or better.

Bryant returns to action Friday when the Bulldogs battle with No. 13 Robert Morris. The 7 p.m. opening face-off can be seen on NEC Front Row.
