OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Bryant University men's lacrosse senior Tom Kennedy (Farmingdale, N.Y.) has been selected as a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award, an honor for student-athletes who excel both on and off the field.

Kennedy has been an all-around presence in the midfield for the Bulldogs with 12 goals, nine assists and 21 ground balls in 2018. The senior from Long Island has three multi-goal games this year and two games of multiple assists. Kennedy has 64 goals, 43 assists, 107 points and 61 ground balls for his Bulldog career.

In the classroom, Kennedy holds a 3.50 GPA and will graduate in May with a degree in accounting. The two-sport athlete rejoined the Bryant football team last fall and ranked third in the NEC with 888 receiving yards and tied for third with 12 total touchdowns. Kennedy earned NEC first-team all-conference honors in football in 2017 and was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection along with garnering an FCS ADA Academic All-Star honor.

Bryant is riding a three-game winning streak into Saturday's home game against Wagner and sitting atop the NEC standings at 3-0. The Black and Gold are receiving votes in both the USILA and Inside Lacrosse national polls this week.
