HANOVER, N.H. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team makes its first trip to Dartmouth since its inaugural Division I season when the Bulldogs and Big Green square off Saturday in Hanover.

The Bulldogs look to even their record at 2-2 on the year as they begin a stretch of three out of four on the road prior to NEC play.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth opened its season last weekend with a 13-11 victory at Merrimack. George Prince factored into nine of the Big Green's 13 goals with six goals and three assists on the afternoon.

The Big Green recorded a 2-11 mark in 2019 and finished last in the Ivy League. Dartmouth returns 100% of its points from last year's team.

THE SERIES
Bryant has won all three meetings in the all-time series between the Bulldogs and Big Green. The teams are meeting in Hanover for the first time since 2009.

The Bulldogs won a thriller at Beirne Stadium last season in a 6-5 February victory. Trevor Weingarten (Allendale, N.J.) and Andre Gomez (Melville, N.Y.) gave Bryant a two-goal advantage after the game was tied at four, and Kevin Beimfohr stopped a bid for a game-tying goal as time expired.

LAST TIME OUT: BRYANT 15, BOSTON UNIVERSITY 10
Junior Marc O'Rourke (Hingham, Mass.) notched five goals and two assists and a five-goal run to open the third quarter put the Bulldogs in command in a 15-10 win over Boston University Tuesday at Beirne Stadium.

THE PATRIOT WAY
Bryant's 15-10 victory against Boston University Tuesday was its eighth all-time against a Patriot League opponent, but first vs. the Terriers and first over a league member since defeating Bucknell in 2014.

ON THE UP AND UP
Redshirt-freshman Logan McGovern (Darien, Conn.) has scored four man-up goals in his first six contests as a Bulldog. McGovern, who notched two last season against Providence before a season-ending injury in the following contest, has one man-up goal in each of Bryant's last two games.

SHOOTERS SHOOT
O'Rourke took 18 shots in Tuesday's win over Boston University, breaking Tom Forsberg's program record of 15 set in 2017 against Robert Morris. O'Rourke put 10 of his 18 shot on cage and scored five times in the Bulldog victory.

JAKE STARTS 2020 STRONG
Redshirt-senior Jake Buonaiuto (Miller Place, N.Y.) has scored 10 goals in his first three games of the year, eclipsing his goal (3) and point (6) totals from 2019.

Buonaiuto, who had one career four-goal game entering the year, scored four times in each of Bryant's first two contests of 2020. He is the first Bulldog with back-to-back games of four or more goals since O'Rourke tallied six and five in the first two conference games of the 2018 season.

MR. CONSISTENT
O'Rourke has recorded 102 points over his last 27 games with at least one point in every game - a streak that ranks 25th nationally entering Saturday.

O'Rourke's 115 career points rank eighth in Bryant's Division I history, as the junior passed Dan Sipperly and current assistant coach Travis Harrington in the first three games of 2020. His 73rd career goal Tuesday passed Tom Kennedy for eighth in Bryant's Division I era, while his 42nd assist moved him past Colin Dunster for sole possession of eighth.

THE NEW GUYS
Sophomore CJ Sweitzer (Hatfield, Pa.) and freshman Kevin Groeninger (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) scored their first career goals in the opener against Bucknell. The duo was joined by freshman Matt Prochaska (Danville, Calif.) in making their collegiate debuts in the contest.

Freshmen Will Ronan (Rochester Hills, Mich.) and Brody Rule (Lone Tree, Colo.) made their collegiate debuts Sunday at Providence, while freshman Ean Patry (Saco, Maine) made his first career appearance in goal during the second half of the win over Boston University.

UP NEXT: MANHATTAN
Bryant will look to close out February with a victory when the Bulldogs travel to Riverdale, New York, for a meeting with Manhattan next Saturday.
