O'Rourke returns as one of the most-feared attackmen in college lacrosse this season and is one of many veterans that hopes to help the Black and Gold repeat as Northeast Conference champions. The New England Lacrosse Journal listed O'Rourke on its preseason All-New England team, while ranking the Bulldogs second in its preseason top 10.

The Hingham, Mass., native is looking to put the finishing touches on an outstanding career this spring in Smithfield. O'Rourke enters his final year averaging 3.88 points per game and is on pace to set the Division I program record for goals scored. He is coming off a Covid-shortened 2021 season that saw him score 25 points in just five games.

Bryant, picked to finish first in the NEC by league coaches, opens its 2022 season on Saturday at in-state rival Providence. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
