Men’s Lacrosse falls to UMBC in Overtime

BALTIMORE, MD. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team fell in overtime to UMBC in their conference opener by a score of 13-12 on Saturday afternoon at UMBC Stadium. The Bulldogs now stand at 4-3 overall on the year and are 0-1 against America East opponents.

Senior Aidan Goltz headlined the Bulldogs attack with 5 points in the game which included 4 goals.

Drew Lucas and Tanner Alexander both had 2 caused turnovers for Bryant in the contest.

How it Happened

  • Aidan Goltz got the scoring started for Bryant with a goal just over a minute into the game to put the Dawgs ahead 1-0.

  • UMBC's Dane Hall would strike back to score 

  • Goltz would score again to give Bryant the lead. Jack Lonsinger would also score 2 goals in 38 seconds to close out the quarter and give Bryant a 4-3 at the end of 1.
