Bulldogs host Knights Sunday at 2 p.m.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – With the game-tying score by senior Jake Lamar (New Haven, Conn.) in the 1-1 draw at Robert Morris, the Bryant University men's soccer team returns to Smithfield to host Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs (3-7-4, 1-2-2) will take on the Knights (2-11-1, 0-4), who are coming off a five-game losing streak, dropping their latest match to Saint Francis U., 5-0.

Senior Brett Larocque (Ottawa, Ont.) continues to lead the Bulldogs' attack with 12 points off five goals and two assists in 11 starts. Sophomore Thomas Binder (Vienna, Austria) has been in asset in the offense, tallying three scores and a trio of helpers, including game-winning goals against Buffalo (Sept. 13) and Hartwick (Oct. 3).

Senior Chris Knaub (Yarmouth, Maine) remains in net for the Black and Gold, gathering 57 saves in 12 starts, while giving up 16 opponent goals. The captain has recorded three shutouts on the season, including matches against Buffalo (Sept. 13), St. Francis Brooklyn (Oct. 9) and Sacred Heart (Oct. 18).

The Knights' attack is headed by Christian Dietrich with nine points off two goals and five assists, followed by Javen Palmer with seven points from three scores and a single assist. Matthew Weigner has received the majority of time between the pipes, recording 55 saves, while allowing 28 opponent scores in 13 appearances for the Knights.
