Series History

  • The Knights own the all-time series, winning four of the eight matches, with two draws and two games going the Bulldogs' way. However, Bryant is unbeaten in three of their last four matches with FDU.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

  • Senior goalkeeper Nick Stewart (South Windsor, Conn.) was named Bryant's Navigant Credit Union Athlete of the Week for his seven-save shutout against Hartwick on Saturday.
  • The Bulldogs registered a season-high 15 shots, including nine on frame in their non-conference finale against the Hawks.
  • Freshman Jared Lee (South Setauket, N.Y.) has gone straight to work since he's entered the lineup, recording six shots with three on goal in just three appearances.
  • Bryant's defense enters NEC play third in the conference in shutouts.

A bit about the Knights

  • Ranked as high as No. 21 in the country this season, Fairleigh Dickinson enters Friday's matchup with a 6-2-1 record and receivers of four points in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.
  • The Knights won their first five matches of the season, but have since faltered, winning only one of their previous four. That win came in overtime fashion on Sept. 27 when they took down Bucknell 3-2 in overtime.
  • FDU is led by the two-headed monster of Fredinho Mompremier and Ahu Obhakan, who have each recorded five goals and two assists in the 2017 campaign.
  • Sebastian Ferreira started last Wednesday's match with the Bison, but Tiago Capela played the second half and subsequent overtime. The two keepers have combined for a 1.09 goals against average this season.
