Bryant opens conference play with Robert Morris, Saint Francis U at home
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's soccer team rounds out its three-game homestand this weekend with a Northeast Conference doubleheader, hosting Robert Morris on Friday and Saint Francis U on Sunday.

The Series
Bryant is unbeaten in all ten matches with the Colonials, winning six and drawing four with Robert Morris. Sophomore John Amaya (Rye, N.Y.) equalized in the 72nd minute of last year's match, helping the Bulldogs earn a 1-1 draw in Moon Township, Pa.

Saint Francis has won five of the nine meetings between the squads, including a 1-0 victory a season ago after falling down to 10 men. The teams drew 1-1 in the most recent meeting in Smithfield, back in 2016.
A bit about the Red Flash
- Saint Francis U is unbeaten in three of their last four matches, including a 2-2 tie in their most recent match against Cal State Fullerton. In a frantic final 15 minutes, Saint Francis scored two goals, both to tie up the score, to ensure a point on the West Coast.
- Mario Mastrangelo, the team's leading scorer, tied the match once and for all in the 89th minute. He now has four goals and five assists on the season, totaling 13 points.
- Kevin Smolyn and Gabriel Castro each have four points on their 2018 resume.
