FULLERTON, Calif. – The Bryant University men's soccer team plays its second and final match on the West Coast versus Cal State Fullerton Sunday at 10 p.m. EST.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

  • The Bulldogs are coming off a 1-0 defeat in their season opener versus UC Riverside on Friday. The team posted four shots by three different players against the Highlanders.
  • Senior Olivier Larente (LaSalle, Montreal) made four saves for Bryant.
  • Freshmen Nick Awada (Westford, Mass) and Matt Supczak (Tolland, Conn.) made their first career appearances for the Black and Gold.
  • Transfer senior Alex DaCosta (Bristol, R.I.) and freshman Diego Rodriguez (Woodbridge, Conn.) made their first starts and appearances for Bryant.
  • DaCosta lead the Bulldogs with two shots.

A bit about the Titans

  • The Titans opened the 2019 season Friday with a win against fellow Northeast team, Hartford.
  • Christian Pinzon and Oscar Flores scored the team's two goals Friday night.
  • The defense gave up just eight shots with two on goal to Hartford, while goalkeeper Paul-Andre Guerin recorded his 16th career shutout for the Titans.
  • The Titans were picked to finish fifth in the 2019 Big West Conference Preseason Poll.
  • Guerin was named to the BWC Preseason All-Conference team.
