Three Bulldogs receive All-NEC honors

SOMERSET, N.J. - Three members of the Bryant University men's soccer team received All-NEC honors, which were announced by the Northeast Conference this afternoon. Diego Rodriguez and Samuel D'Agostino made the All-NEC second team and Digger Iqbal received the honor of the NEC All-Rookie team.

Rodriguez earned the honor of All-NEC second team after he produced his best offensive season as a Bulldog this year. He posted career-highs in goals (two), assists (four), points (eight), and shots with 22. This is the first time in Rodriguez's career that he has made an All-NEC team.

D'Agostino claimed All-NEC second-team honors. He played in 10 games this season, making eight starts. D'Agostino played a vital role on a defense that allowed 24 goals this season, which ranked fourth in the conference. This is D'Agostino's first time receiving All-NEC honors.

Freshman Iqbal was named to the NEC All-Rookie team. He played in 11 games and had six starts this year. Iqbal posted 11 shots and one on goal in his rookie season. 

The Bulldogs will face LIU tomorrow in the NEC semifinal at one o'clock.
