Dawgs sweep AE weekly awards

BOSTON, MASS. - Nick Awada, Luca Marinelli, and Brooklyn Baker of the Bryant men's soccer team received America East weekly honors announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

Awada was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Marinelli received the Defensive Player of the Week honors, and Baker was named the Rookie of the Week.

Awada recorded two goals and one assist as the Bulldogs defeated Merrimack and Brown by scores of 2-0 and 2-1. Awada ranlks fifth in the conference in goals and points. Marinelli went 2-0 this week and recorded one shutout in the win against the Warriors. He tallied a .50 GAA and a save percentage of .917 during the week. Baker tallied his first career goal against Merrimack on the assist from Awada. 

The Black and Gold will face Harvard today before they head back to Smithfield against Fairfield on Sunday.
