Supczak finds the back of the net in loss to Fairfield

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Matt Supczak of the Bryant University men's soccer team scored his first goal of the season in the Black and Gold's 2-1 home loss against Fairfield on Sunday.

Scoring Summary

  • 28th minute - Fairfield 1, Bryant 0 - Fairfield had a corner on the right side of the field, which a Bryant defender headed away, but the Stags forward corralled the ball and scored.
  • 42nd minute - Fairfield 2, Bryant 0 - The stags started a break on the left side of the pitch. A Fairfield midfielder then sent a cross over the box, which Raz Amir tapped into the net for his and the Stag's second goal of the game.
  • 83rd minute - Fairfield 2, Bryant 1 - The Bulldogs received a corner on the left, which Alex Ard took. He kicked the ball out to Diego Rodriguez, who crossed a pass to a sprinting Supczak, who then headed the ball to the ground, which made the ball bounce up into the crossbar and past the goal line.
