Rodriguez called up to U-20 Puerto Rican National Team

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Freshman Jorge Rodriguez of the Bryant University men's soccer team has been selected to represent the U-20 Puerto Rican National Team at the Concacaf U-20 Qualifier.

A native of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Rodriguez has a history of success. Before Bryant, the forward played in Puerto Rico with the Conquistadores, a team that went 21-0-2. Rodriguez was the top scorer on that team with 15 goals. The freshman also won the 2023 Northeast Conference in the MLS Next with Seacoast United.

Puerto Rico will play three contests between February 23rd - March 2nd. They are a part of Group E and will take on Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Cayman Islands, and Haiti. The first place team in each group will advance to the 2024 Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship in the summer of 2024.
