Men's Soccer announces 2024 spring schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Head coach of the Bryant University men's soccer soccer team Ruben Resendes announced the squad's upcoming spring schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The reigning America East Champions will compete in three home and three away contests spanning March and April. The Black and Gold open on the road at Stonehill on March 22nd at 7:00pm. To begin the month of April, the team takes on Boston University in Smithfield on April 7th at 1:00pm. Bryant stays at home to play Merrimack three days later on the 10th in a 7:00pm matchup. The Bulldogs then make the short trip to Providence for a night game on April 19th at 7:00pm. The squad will have a quick turnaround and welcome North York Academy on April 21st for a 1:00pm contest against the Canadian side. To round out their spring, the Black and Gold stay in state as they travel to URI for a 7:00pm match on April 26th.

Coach's comments on the spring schedule…

"We're excited to challenge ourselves this spring against some very good local Division I competition, especially since we've graduated more than half of the starting group from the fall. This is a great opportunity for players who didn't play as much [in the fall] to get significant playing time versus great competition and to put themselves in a position to make a stronger impact on the team next season. It's also a time for us to try new things as a team such as implementing new tactics and strategies to help make us even more competitive in the fall of 2024!"
