As a sophomore: Completed his second season as a diver for the Black and Gold ... Posted a season-best score of 152.70 in the 1 meter dive at St. Francis Brooklyn ... Recorded a season-high score of 157.28 in the 3 meter dive at Holy Cross. 

As a freshman: Competed in the one and three meter dive in his first season as a Bulldog … Finished with season best scores in both events against Brown … 139.73 (6th) in the 1 meter and 139.28 (4th) in the 3 meter.

Before Bryant: A four-year varsity letterwinner on the swimming and diving team at Ashland ... Also earned a varsity letter in soccer and track and field.

Personal: The son of Lori and Steven Coakley, Joseph Coakley was born on May 1, 1995 ... Has one brother, Robert, and one sister, Samantha.
