Bulldogs set second meet record, finish third at Harold Anderson

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's swimming and diving team swam to a third-place finish at the Harold Anderson Invitational following a strong performance on day two Saturday.

The Bulldogs finished the two-day event with 750.5 points.

On Saturday, the 400 free relay team set a meet record with a time of 3:09.65. Ben Schulte (Tumon, Guam), Colin Curtin (Wethersfield, Conn.), Zachary Hannon (Marlborough, Conn.) and Kyle Koziol (Farmington, Conn.) combined to take home Bryant's second meet record of the weekend. Bryant's 200 medley relay also performed well, as Curtin, Schulte, Boris Paraliticci (Saunderstown, R.I.) and Benon Boyadjian (Middlebury, Conn.) finished second.

Schulte also had a strong individual day, winning the 100 breast and placing second in the 200 breast. Curtin finished 4th in the 200 free and fourth in the 200 back on the afternoon. Boyadjian finished 5th in the 100 fly, Koziol finished sixth in the 100 back, Charlie Broe (New Windsor, N.Y.) finished 4th in the 1650 free, Oliver French (Nashua, N.H.) finished 5th in the 1650 free, Paraliticci finished 3rd in the 100 free and Shane Vyskocil (Parsippany, N.J.) finished 4th in the 200 fly.

Bryant placed 3-4 in the 1-meter dive. Kevin Sullivan (East Lyme, Conn.) placed 3rd and Ryan Sheehy (West Newbury, Mass.) finished 4th.
