Men's swim and dive in third after two days of WPI Invite

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's swimming and diving team is in third place after day two of the WPI Invitational.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs received strong individual performances from several swimmers. Oliver French (Nashua, N.H.) swam well in the distance events, finishing ninth in the 500 free and 10th in the 1650 free. Boris Paraliticci (Saunderstown, R.I.) finished ninth in the 50 fly and 10th in the 100 fly, while Tavish Boyle (Springfield, N.J.) finished eighth in the 100 breast. Colin Curtin (Wethersfield, Conn.) added an eighth-place finish in the 100 fly for the Black and Gold.

Bryant's divers also had a successful day, setting personal bests. Kevin Sullivan (East Lyme, Conn.) finished second in the 1-meter dive with a personal-best score of 229.45. Ryan Sheehy (West Newbury, Mass.) finished sixth in the event with a personal-best score of 181.15. Both divers topped their performances from the preliminary round.
