Bryant places 11 on MAAC All-Academic Team

BUFFALO, N.Y. – On the eve of the first full day of competition at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, the league announced its list of 85 Men's Swimming All-Academic honors. Eleven members of the Bryant University men's swimming and diving team were listed, second most of all teams competing this weekend.

Seniors Benon Boyadjian (Middlebury, Conn.) and Ben Schulte (Tumon, Guam), juniors Tavish Boyle (Springfield, N.J.), Charlie Broe (New Windsor, N.Y.), Kevin Sullivan (East Lyme, Conn.), Shane Vyskocil (Parsippany, N.J.) and Matt Zichelli (Glen Ridge, N.J.) and sophomores Robert Davis (Glastonbury, Conn.), Zach DiGiaro (Middletown, N.J.), Juan Gonzalez (Al Safa, Dubai) and Cyrus Nabavi (Murray, Kent.) were named to the list for the Bulldogs.

Iona placed a league-best 12 student-athletes on the teams, while Marist tied Bryant with 11. Canisius and Rider added 10. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
