Men's Swim & Dive wraps up 2018-19 season

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's swimming and diving team wrapped up its competition season with a strong showing at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships and the National Invitational Collegiate Championships.

Sophomore Matthew Mays (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) swam in the NIC Championships, while classmate Trevor Hazlewood (Corpus Christi, Texas) made history as the first male diver to compete at the NCAA Zone A Championships.

Mays competed in three events during the week, finishing ninth in the 50 back (22.99), 10th in the 200 back (1:49.71) and 15th in the 100 back (49.40).

Hazlewood competed in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform at the NCAA Zone A Championships. He finished 32nd in the 3-meter (239.20), 35th in the 1-meter (182.35) and 13th in the platform (184.95).
