Bulldogs compete in Virtual Meet Series
Smithfield, R.I. - The Bryant University women's swimming and diving team competed in a Virtual Meet Series against Army, UNC Wilmington, and George Washington University at the Chace Athletic Pool.
Coach Cameron's Comments:
"We saw some fast swimming tonight. It was exciting! I loved the energy this team was excited to get up and race in a suit! We have been working hard, and I am impressed by the effort and attitude of this team this Fall!!"
Notes and Notables:
- Matthew Mays, FuKang Wong, Dom Scifo, and Matthew Mastroianni earned the top spot for the Bulldogs by posting a time of 1:33.15 in the 200 medley relay.
- Tyler Stringfellow posted a time of 2:48.34 in the 300 free. Aaron Khodarkovsky (2:55.77) and Trent Levasseur (2:55.97) rounded out the top three.
- Mys earned the top times in the 100 Back and 100 IM with times of 50.95 and 53.14. Jackson McDonough and Asher Stukelman posted times of 54.83 and 55.19 in the 100 back. Stukelman (55.32) and freshman Matt Stanley (55.67) finished behind mays in the 100 IM.
- Mastroianni earned the best times in both the 50 and 100 Free by touching the wall at 22.14 and 48.23.
- Chris Kerrigan and McDonough finished second (23.05) and third in the 50 free (23.54). Freshman Reese Stevenson and Chase Konstakos recorded a time of 48.52 and 28.96 in the 100 free.
- In the 100 breast, Scifo (58.85) was ahead of the pack, and teammates Stanley (1:00.22) and Payton Nicastro1:01.69 were close behind.
- in the 100 fly, Eric Bebel (52.40), Brandon Naylor (52.49), and Jake Williams (52.83) made up the podium.
