Bulldogs Facing First America East Opponent at Binghamton

VESTAL, N.Y.- The Bryant swimming and diving teams will take on their first America East opponent this Saturday when they travel to Binghamton. It is the first dual meet of the season for the Bulldogs, who opened two weeks ago at the Boston College Invite.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Griffin Lajoie led Bryant with two event wins at BC. He claimed the top spot in the 100 back (51.37) and 200 back (1:53.08).

  • Julia Stenhard had a pair of top-three finishes in the season opener. She came home second in the 100 fly (57.93) and third in the 100 back (59.30).

  • Andrew Gamper placed second in the 200 fly at BC, hitting the wall at 1:55.14.

  • Jill Carline notched second and fourth place results in her collegiate debut at BC. She swam a 1:55.48 en route to a runner-up finish in the 200 free, and hit the wall at 53.35 in her 100 free fourth place swim.

  • Drew Arnold (men's three-meter), Sydney Barnett (women's three-meter), Chris Buonocore (men's one-meter), and Molly Gordon (women's one-meter) were the Bulldogs' top divers at BC.
