Bulldogs battle in Ivy League Saturday and Sunday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team continues competition against the Ivy League, traveling to take on Yale on Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by Harvard on Sunday at 4 p.m.

The Bulldogs (4-6) clash with the Yale Bulldogs (5-4) for the second time in Division I. In the first dogfight, Bryant fell to then-No. 68 Yale, 7-0, on March 30, 2014 in New Haven, Conn. Yale enters the matchup on a one-game winning streak, defeating Furman, 5-2, on Feb. 30.

In Bryant's second contest of the weekend, the Black and Gold head back to Cambridge to play Harvard on Sunday. The Crimson (8-4) most recently won the ECAC Division I Indoor Championship, taking down Penn, 5-2, on Feb. 14. In their last meeting, the Bulldogs were defeated, 6-1, by then-No.25 Harvard in Cambridge. This year's matchup marks the third time the two teams have met with the series mark in Harvard's favor, 3-0.
