Doubles teams combine to finish 6-2 at Ivy League Plus

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team had a successful showing at the Ivy League Plus, as doubles teams of red-shirt sophomore Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) with junior Josh Kliger (Newport Beach, Calif.) and junior Luke Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) with sophomore Artur Jakubowski (Dallas, Texas) each went 3-1 in doubles and 12-10 in the field.

"It was a solid outing," said head coach Ron Gendron. "Going 12-10 in this field was the goal we set for ourselves and I am very pleased with our performance to do so."

The Bulldogs faced competitors from Harvard, Penn., Cornell, Princeton, Dartmouth, St. John's and Drexel. Full results are pending and will be available at universaltennis.com and bryantbulldogs.com.

"I am looking forward to two weeks of solid practice before our next outing," said Gendron.
