Bulldogs begin February at Boston University, host Navy in first home match at Centre Court on Feb. 19

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Following a 1-4 start to the season in January, the Bryant University men's tennis team heads into February with its sights set on winning matches and getting some young Bulldogs involved in the process.

"We are looking forward to a well-balanced schedule with some very competitive matches," said head coach Ron Gendron. "For the most part, February will give us many opportunities to play teams that are very similar in talent and should test us at every position. We are also eager to get more of our freshmen involved."

The Black and Gold face off against Boston University on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. The contest marks the second time the Bulldogs have seen the Terries with the last match up coming in November at the Bryant Invitational.

Next up, the Bulldogs host their first match of the season at Centre Court in East Providence, .R.I on Friday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. against Navy. The Bulldogs will then spend the remainder of the month on the road, playing St. John's, Stony Brook, NJIT and Army.

After taking on St. John's on Saturday Feb. 25, the Black and Gold battle Stony Brook, NJIT and Army at West Point on Saturday, Feb. 25 and 26. The Bulldogs are familiar with the facility, having played at the West Point Invitational in the fall, where the Bulldogs finished 21-8 in the tournament.
