Two Bulldogs listed in final ITA Northeast rankings

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team has a singles player and doubles team in the ITA Northeast Rankings for the first time in program history.

Senior Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) is ranked No. 14 in singles, while Kuhar and doubles teammate sophomore Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) are ranked No. 10.

Kuhar wrapped up a magical career in 2018-19, becoming the first player in program and Northeast Conference history to be ranked nationally in both singles and doubles. He went on to win NEC Player of the Year honors for the third-straight year, finishing his Bryant career with 87 career victories.

Dong teamed with Kuhar to become the first doubles team in program and NEC history to compete at the NCAA Doubles Championships. The duo went 7-4 together, including a victory over Dartmouth's David Horneffer and Charlie Broom, the No. 2 ranked doubles team in the Northeast.
