Bryant earns 4-3 win over Villanova
PHILADELPHIA -- The Bryant men's tennis team earned a 4-3 victory over Villanova on Friday afternoon.
How it Happened
- Bryant swept the doubles point to take an early lead. Marcus Macaulay and Jean-Christophe Baril won 6-4, Agustin Suarez and Jose Davila won 6-2 and Diego Trejo and Diego Serra Sparrow won 7-6 (7-5).
- In singles, the Wildcats won at each of the top three spots.
- Bryant, however, was able to win at the bottom three to clinch the match. Serra Sparrow won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4.
- Myles Peterson added a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5, while Daniel Baquero won 6-1, 7-5 at No. 6.
