SYRACUSE, NY - After winning their first game Saturday, the Bulldogs were defeated by regular season champion Le Moyne in the second game. With the loss, the Bulldogs are eliminated from the NE-10 Tournament.

Janine Enos (Wareham, Mass.) pitched her second gem of the day, but was beaten by two sacrifice flies in the bottom of the sixth inning. In that frame, the Dolphins loaded the bases with no one out. Enos then allowed a sacrifice fly to Jennifer Farrelly to put the Dolphins up by one. The next batter, Emma Murphy, also lofted a fly to rightfielder Kate Thomas (Bedford, NH), but she came up throwing and nearly got Bailey Phillips at the plate.

Marth Senko went the distance for the Dolphins, scattering six hits in the shutout and striking out three. She got out of several key jams, including one in the sixth with two on and two out.

The Bulldogs were also able to geta runner on third in the seventh, but Senko struck out Stephanie Mirando to end the game.

Enos finished with 6 hits allowed in six innings and a strikeout. She went all 13 innings on the day for the Bulldogs and only allowed three runs.

Lindsay Connor (West Haven, CT) and Thomas finished with two hits each in defeat.

Bryant finishes the season 24-16 and will now have to wait to find out if they made the NCAA Tournament Monday morning at 8am.
