Bio

2008 Season Outlook:One of the most talented returning offensive players, Serrano will look to provide a strong bat in the middle of the Bulldogs batting order. Serrano also has a chance to reclaim her spot at second base for the entire season.Will look to continue her momentum from a strong showing at the NCAA tournament last spring.

As a Junior: Serrano's junior season was derailed early by an injury on the team's trip to Florida. After getting off to a hot start, batting .300 in the team's early season trip, Serrano injured her knee and was hampered all season. Serrano came on strong late in the season, though, knocking four hits, including a home run in the NCAA regionals at C.W. Post.

As a Sophomore: In her first year as a starter, Serrano saw her batting average jump to .268 with 12 extra-base hits, a .374 slugging percentage, and 17 RBI.

As a Freshman: Made one start and appeared in 17 games with two sacrifice hits and two putouts.

Before Bryant: Jennifer is a 2004 graduate of Stoneham High School where she lettered in basketball and softball. A two-time all-star and all-league honoree, Serrano was a varsity Scholar Athlete, earning both honor roll and high honor roll recognition.

Personal: Jennifer Barbara Serrano was born March 6, 1986. She is the daughter of Barbara and Dick Serrano. Her brother Chris is a former pitcher at Endicott College. Jennifer is an Accounting major.
