2010 (Freshman): Appeared in 18 games, making nine starts on the mound for the Bulldogs in her freshman campaign… Finished the season with a 4.78 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 85.0 innings pitched… Picked up her first collegiate win in a 5-4 victory over Maine on March 21st… Threw four complete-games, including a 7-2 victory over Holy Cross, the Bulldogs second of the season over the Crusaders… Jacob allowed just two earned runs and struck out seven to earn her second career victory… Also made 37 plate appearances, finishing the season with a .189 batting average… Went 2-4 against Mount St. Mary’s, picking up four RBI’s on her first career homerun, a grand slam in the third inning.
