As a sophomore: Saw no sophomore slump during her second full season as a Bulldog, ranking second on the team with a .364 batting average while appearing in 36 games ... Finished the year with 28 hits, including four doubles and one long ball ... Drove in six runs on the year ... Recorded eight multi-hit games, including a three-game stretch late in the season in which she garnered six hits ... Ripped a home run against FDU on April 3 ... Recorded a seven-game hitting streak from April 18 to April 26.

As a freshman: Appeared in 38 games, making 37 starts as a freshman outfielder ... Finished third on the team with a .271 batting average ... Had 29 hits, including nine doubles and a team-high two triples ... Played outstanding defense, committing only two errors in the outfield ... Recorded nine multi-hit games and led the team with four multiple RBI games, including going 3-4 with two runs scored and three RBIs against Rhode Island ... Tied for a team high with three stolen bases ... Finished her freshman campaign with a .393 slugging percentage, good enough for third on the team.  

Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of Fitchburg High School where she was a four year player at centerfield, catcher and shortstop ... Named a Sentinel and Enterprise All-Star four years in a row and to the Telegram and Gazette Super Team twice ... Kate also achieved the highest batting average in her league ... Also ran indoor track and played field hockey and basketball ... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of John and Kathryn Murray, Kate Elizabeth Murray was born September 19, 1990 ... Has one brother, Anthony.
