Madsen dubbed NEC Co-Pitcher of the week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University softball senior Elle Madsen (Wheat Ridge, Colo.) was donned Northeast Conference Co-Pitcher of the week, following a 3-1 finish on the mound over the weekend.

Madsen completed her 3-1 week on the mound with a 0.88 ERA, allowing 14 hits over the course of 24 innings while walking one and fanning 20 batters. The senior earned both wins in Saturday's doubleheader sweep of Wagner, including a one-hit shutout in a 3-0 game one victory. She combined to toss 11 shutout innings against the Seahawks, yielding just three hits and striking out ten batters. In game two of Sunday's twinbill against Mount St. Mary's she threw a complete-game six-hitter, giving up a lone run.
