Gradillas pegged College Sports Madness NEC Player of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant junior infielder Jessica Gradillas (Nogales, Ariz.) was named the College Sports Madness Northeast Conference Softball Player of the Week, the publication announced Monday night.

Gradillas started at third base in two of Bryant's three games played this weekend in the Nor'easter Invitational. The junior batted .500, going 3-for-6 with a home run and four RBI.

In the first game of Sunday's doubleheader at Hartford, Gradillas went 1-for-3 at the plate and launched a game-tying home run in the fourth inning. In the second game, The Arizona native went 2-for-3 with four RBI, including the eventual game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth inning.

Gradillas has enjoyed success in 2018, currently having career-highs in home runs, batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.
