Coach Lotito's Comments

"I think our offense has been pretty consistent. We stayed confident that it would show itself and it was good to see our upperclassmen get good bat at ball when it mattered.

Sarah's an unbelievable pitcher. She faced a lot of tough competition early on and now she is comfortable. I really think that she has a lot of potential and we are excited to see her continue to own this role.

They (SHU) are a strong team and I am proud of how they played. I think we are in a really good spot to be a contender to win an NEC championship."

  • With the game tied in the top of the sixth, Pizzano delivered a clutch two-out RBI single to give the Bulldogs the lead.
