Seven Bulldogs earn Easton/NFCA honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Seven Bryant University softball student-athletes have been honored by the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association as All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2017-18 academic year, as announced earlier this month.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 1,600 student-athletes earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the 2017-18 academic year. NCAA Division I honored 1,311 student-athletes.

Nicole Davis (Toms River, N.J.), Gabrielle Ermish (Pottstown, Pa.), Sarah McKeveny (Bohemia, N.Y.), Lainey Michaud (Phoenixville, Pa.), Colby Norris (Toano, Va.), Nicole Zukowski (Medford, N.Y.), and recent graduate Logan Paul (Shaker Heights, Ohio), were among the seven players awarded for their efforts in the classroom.

Six other Northeast Conference schools also placed student-athletes among the All-America Scholar Athletes, including Fairfield, LIU Brooklyn, Rider, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, and Saint Francis University.
