Courtney Paolantonios walk-off leads to split against Wagner

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Courtney Paolantonio of the Bryant University softball team went two-for-two with a walk-off double and a home run in the Bulldogs' 2-1 extra-inning victory over Wagner in game two of the day.

The Black and Gold fell 10-3 in game one.

• Jenna Gardner hit a lead-off single and then advanced to third on a single from Sarah McKeveny in the top of the first inning. The Bulldogs then scored on a Wagner error (1-0).
• Wagner scored four runs on a double and two singles in the top of the second (4-1).
• During the top of the third inning, the Seahawks added three more runs on two singles and a wild pitch (7-1).
• In the top of the fifth inning, Wagner scored a run on a single to left field (8-1).
• Toni Camarillo hit a lead-off single, which set up Aleix Hudson, who crushed a two-run home run to deep center in the bottom of the sixth inning (8-3).
• The Seahawks hit a two-run home run during the top of the seventh inning, which was the game's final runs (10-3).

• Hudson began the bottom of the ninth inning with a leadoff walk. Caroline Paolantonio then pinch-hit and was walked, putting runners on first and second. Courtney Paolantonio then picked up the victory for Bryant with a walk-off double down the right-field line.
