Bryant wins both against Stonehill and reaches 25 wins this season

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Hannah Cochran hit a two-run home run in the Bryant University softball team's 8-5 victory in game one against Stonehill at Conaty Park.

The Black and Gold tallied four runs down 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth on RBIs from Megan Marcel, Amira Rainer, and Ginny Gex in the 5-2 game two win.

Alexis Clancy posted three hits and one RBI.

How it Happened (GM1)

• The Black and Gold tallied two runs in the bottom of the first on a fielder's choice and bases-loaded walk (2-0).
• Stonehill took the lead in the top of the second as they scored three runs on a fielders choice, ground out, and RBI single (3-2).
• The Skyhawks added one more run in the top of the third inning on a passed ball (4-2)
• In the bottom of the third inning, Marcel was walked and advanced to second on a fielder's choice, setting up Alyssa Garabedian and Cochran, who hit a double and single to tie the game at four (4-4).
• In the bottom of the fourth, Alexis Clancy hit an RBI single up the middle for the Bulldog's fifth and sixth run (6-4).

• In the top of the sixth inning, the Skyhawks took a one-run lead (2-1) on a groundout.
• Clancy began the bottom of the sixth with a triple; Marcel tied the game on a single up the middle (2-2). Alexis Larrow laid down a sac bunt, and Aleix Hudson was hit by a pitch, placing runners on first and second. Amira Rainer then pinch-hit and knocked an RBI single to left center (3-2). Ginny Gex then recorded a pinch-hit RBI double, scoring two (5-2).
