As a freshman: Competed as a long distance runner during his freshman season.

Indoor – Competed in the mile, 3000m, and 5000m … Posted best times of 4:43.51 in the mile, 9:16.85 in the 3000m, and 16:08.12 in the 5000m … Helped his 4x800 relay team to a first-place finish at the URI Tribute to Bill Falk with a time of 8:45.17.

Outdoor – Competed in the 1500m, 3000m, 5000m and 10,000m … Posted top times of 4:23.14 in the 1500m, 9:45.60 in the 3000m, 15:35.66 in the 5000m, and 33:26.48 in the 10,000m … Finished among the top 20 at the NEC Championship in the 5000m and the 10,000m ... Named to the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. 

Before Bryant: A four-year varsity letter winner in both cross country and both indoor and outdoor track ... Broke school records for indoor 3200, indoor 3k, and outdoor 4x1600 ...
