Bryant set to compete in Dartmouth Relays

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University indoor track and field team is back in action competing in the 50th Annual Dartmouth Relays this Sunday, January 13 on ESPN+.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

  • This is the first year that the Bulldogs will be competing in the Dartmouth Relays.
  • During Bryant's last outing at the Alden Invitational, 10 Bulldogs entered the record books highlighted by freshman Jason Dolan (Westford, Mass.) who came in first place in the mile ranking ninth all-time at Bryant with a time of 4:19.47. Dolan will be competing in the 3,000m on Sunday for the Black and Gold.
  • Nicole Xiarhos (Berlin, Conn.) had a successful collegiate debut at the Alden Invitational entering the record books in both the 60 and the 300m. She will be competing again in the 60m along with the 400m.
  • Senior captain Adam Winiarz (Norton, Mass.) finished in fourth place at the Alden Invitational in the 300m with a time of 35.99 and will be back in action in the 400m and the 4x200.
  • Freshman Laura Rizik also had a successful collegiate debut competing in the shotput event throwing 9.78m. The rookie will compete again in the shotput and weight throw.
