Men's DMR heads to ECAC/IC4A on Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University indoor track and field team will be sending a men's distance medley relay team to the ECAC/IC4A Championship this weekend in Boston, Mass.

Bulldogs Notes and Notables

  • The DMR team will include Jordan Dagrin (North Kingstown, R.I.), Andrew Canale (Lincroft, N.J.), Brian Salit (Seekonk, Mass.), and Jason Dolan (Westford, Mass.).
  • The Bulldogs have shown success with their DMR teams this past season as William Bittrich (Duxbury, Mass.), Christopher Wrenn (Norton, Mass.), Dagrin and Dolan were just two seconds shy of breaking the program record. The team posted a time of 10:11.53 at the Terrier Invitational in January.
  • Canale has yet to compete in DMR this season but has run to multiple PRs in 2019. Most recently, Canale broke his personal record at the BU Last Chance Qualifier in the 200-meter with a time of 22.59 placing him eighth in Bryant's top 10. The rookie is also fourth all-time in the 500-meter posting a time of 1:06.08 at the NEC Championship.
  • Dagrin is coming off a fourth place finish in the 1000-meter run at the BU Last Chance Qualifier. He was .46 of a second away from breaking his PR with a time of 2:30.71.
  • Salit is in his final indoor season and is coming off a personal record in the 800-meter at BU. He posted a time of 1:56.25 ranking him sixth in Bryant's top 10.
  • Dolan has had a successful rookie season finishing fifth in both the 800 and the mile at the NEC Championship. The freshman has also posted PRs in the 800, 1000, 3000 and mile runs this season.
  • Dagrin, Salit, and Dolan were part of the 4x800 team that broke the program record earlier this season. Wrenn was also part of the team as they finished with a time of 7:50.87 at the NEICAAA Championship.

UP NEXT
ECAC/IC4A will conclude the indoor season for the Bulldogs. Bryant will kick off its outdoor season over spring break at the CSU Spring Break Invitational in Charleston, S.C. on Saturday, March 16.
