Bulldogs Post Seven All-New England Performances at NEICAAA's
SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant track and field teams competed this weekend at the NEICAAA New England Championships, held on campus at the Track and Turf Complex.
The Bulldogs posted seven All-New England performances, including a silver medal for William Remkiewicz in the 400 meters and a bronze for the women's 4x100 relay team. Andrew Canale was the lone Bulldog to finish top-eight in multiple events, doing so in the 200 and 400 meters.

Remkiewicz was one of two All-New England finishers for Bryant in the 400. He placed second with a time of 47.29, with Andrew Canale coming sixth at 47.88.

Canale also placed eighth in the 200, crossing the line at 21.77.

Ana Bertarelli, Nicole Xiarhos, Jasmine Hope, and Savannah Pineda combined for a new school record in the 4x100 on their way to a third place finish. They came home at 46.96 seconds.

Nicholas Brancato placed fourth in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a new program record time of 9:27.79.

Sarah Freeman came home fifth in the 1500 meters, doing so in 4:40.45.

Mike Marshall, Jr. tied his program record in the high jump, finishing eighth at 1.95 meters.
