Four Bulldogs Compete in Heptathlon and Pentathlon at URI

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.- Freshman Connor McCue placed fourth in the heptathlon to lead Bryant at this week's Multi-Meet at URI. Kevin Cavrell, Edward Cardarelli, and Sydney O'Shea also competed in the two-day event for the Bulldogs.

McCue finished with three top-five finishes in the seven-event competition. He placed fourth in both the high jump and pole vault and fifth in the 1000 meters. Cardarelli brought home the Bulldogs' lone individual event win, taking the victory in the 60 meter dash. Cavrell also brought home a third place in the 1000 meters.

O'Shea was the lone Bulldog to compete in the women's pentathlon, placing 13th. Her best finish was seventh in the 800 meters.
